Job Summary
Provide in-home, community-based therapeutic services to youth up to 21 years old across Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Gilchrist, Levy, and Union Counties. Deliver evidence-based practices such as CBT and Motivational Interviewing for mental health and substance use counseling. Conduct consistent individual and family therapy sessions, formulate individualized treatment plans, and utilize community resources for discharge planning. Maintain compliance with policies and document services in electronic medical records. Demonstrate flexibility to accommodate evening and weekend schedules and provide services in schools and other community settings. Requires a Master's degree in a behavioral health field, Florida licensure eligibility, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited university or college in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or related field
- Must be Florida registered intern eligible
- Must reside within the State of Florida
- A valid Florida driver's license with proof of insurance and an acceptable driving history
- Organizational and Time allocation skill abilities
- Flex hours to meet client scheduling needs
- Flexibility to provide services in client homes, schools, and other community settings
- Ability to utilize self-care techniques to best manage to achieve Optimal work life balance
- Compassionate, engaging, and have a strong desire to help others
- Ability to document therapy services in electronic medical records (EMR) platform
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred two years of counseling or case management experience in mental health and/or substance use with youth
