Job Summary
Assess and determine comprehensive mental health needs for diverse clients ranging from children to adults, conducting screenings, psychosocial assessments, and progress notes. Deliver individual and family therapy on psycho-social issues such as coping skills and stress reduction directly in the community or client homes, with no requirement to visit an office. Collaborate with caregivers, physicians, and school counselors to ensure optimal care, while documenting all services in an electronic medical records platform. Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance clinical outcomes and advocate for patient access to community resources. This role offers the flexibility to choose your own hours and create a schedule based on your needs while meeting client demands. Required Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited university or college in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or related field
- Must reside within the State of Florida
- Organizational and Time allocation skill abilities, and to flex hours to meet client scheduling needs, and flexibility to provide services in client homes, schools, and other community settings
- Ability to utilize self-care techniques to best manage to achieve OPTimal work life balance
- Compassionate, engaging, and have a strong desire to help others
- Ability to document therapy services in electronic medical records (EMR) platform
- If degree is in Rehabilitation Counseling, Human Services, Forensic Psychology, Community Counseling, Psychology, Youth Counseling, Human Development, Behavioral Science, Art Therapy, & Psychiatric Rehabilitation, transcripts must include at least four class codes that contain content from: Human Growth & Development, Diagnosis and treatment of Psychology, Human Sexuality, Counseling Theories and Techniques, Group Theories and Practice, Dynamic of Marriage and Family Systems, Individual Evalu...
