Job Summary
The Per Diem Early Childhood Mental Health (ECMH) Clinician at The Center for Early Childhood provides specialized community-based behavioral health services for children aged 0-7 and their families. Responsibilities include direct care through individual and family therapy, engaging families, conducting assessments, and ensuring compliance with health insurance standards. The role emphasizes independence in handling cases and offers limited training and supervision. Required qualifications are a Master’s degree in a relevant field and experience working with young children. Ideal candidates demonstrate cultural sensitivity and self-reflection skills.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in social work, mental health or related discipline
- Prior experience engaging children 0-7 (could include volunteer, intern, lived-experience, etc.)
- Excellent cultural curiosity, sensitivity, and responsivity
- Strong capacity for self-reflection
- Computer literate, including Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new software applications
- Ability to travel (via personal transportation or public transit) to meet programmatic and client needs regularly and intermittently
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to provide services in a second language; Identified need for Spanish and/or Haitian Creole fluency.
- Massachusetts licensure (LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT)
