Job Summary
Provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to over 175,000 clients via telehealth and face-to-face sessions. Deliver intakes and diagnoses according to the current DSM-5 while maintaining a caseload of 25+ sessions weekly. Operate as a behavioral health generalist open to treating couples and children, utilizing modern clinical technology and EHR tools. This role requires residing within 45 minutes of the Cambridge, MA office location and completing a hybrid schedule of 50% in-office and 50% remote work. Candidates must pursue independent licensure as an LMHC in Massachusetts and hold graduate-level experience in counseling settings. Thriveworks supports clinicians with full administrative handling, credentialing, billing, and paid supervision to focus entirely on client progress.
Required Qualifications
- Must be seeking independent licensure and living in Massachusetts
- Must reside within 45 minutes of the office location
- A graduate of an approved 60-credit hour program
- Graduate or Post-graduate work experience in a counseling setting treating depression and anxiety
- Graduate or Post-graduate work experience independently conducting intakes and diagnosing according to the current DSM-5 under a licensed supervisor
- Consistently available to clients for a minimum of 25 sessions with 30 hours of availability weekly
- A behavioral health generalist who is open to treating a variety of clients, including couples and children
- Invested in helping your clients achieve measurable progress
- Confident working with modern clinical technology, including telehealth and EHR tools
- A good teammate
