Job Summary
Master Rental Technician responsible for preparing the rental fleet to Western States standards, performing advanced repairs/maintenance on MEWP and rental fleet, diagnosing issues, operating and securing equipment, loading/unloading, maintaining yard organization, and following safety policies. Responsibilities include utilizing service manuals, completing inspections, and pursuing certifications; requires strong forklift/rigging knowledge, ability to travel, and English communication. Position emphasizes safety-sensitive duties and extended hands-on maintenance of Caterpillar and allied equipment, with a focus on keeping fleet availability high and ensuring client satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Proof of high school diploma or GED required
- Associates degree in diesel technology or trade school diploma preferred
- Minimum of four years industry experience required (rental fleet, mobile, allied equipment)
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required
- Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card and CDL, preferred
- Must be able to communicate in English
