Job Summary
Master Planning Project Manager responsible for planning and designing the civil infrastructure framework for large-scale developments, including drainage, stormwater, water, sanitary sewer, parking, and roadways. Utilize Civil 3D to prepare exhibits and construction documents and design land development projects with stormwater software. Ensure regulatory compliance and permitting, analyze topographical and geologic data, and lead engineering design decisions. Oversee site investigations, construction observation, budgets, schedules, and RTM standards while maintaining client satisfaction and strong communications. Provide leadership in QA/QC, mentorship, and development of project teams, and contribute to business development and client relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
- Experience in leading and managing complex, large-scale projects
- Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Responsibility for project deliverables, milestones, and client satisfaction
- Ability to independently lead and perform complex engineering design and analysis tasks
- Proficient in business development activities, such as proposal writing, client acquisition, and fostering client relationships
- Management of comprehensive project documentation and record-keeping
- Expertise in navigating and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and permitting processes
- Leadership in quality control and quality assurance processes for projects
- Management of client relationships and satisfaction, including client acquisition and retention
- Exceptional communication skills are required
- Responsible for development and growth of project team members
- Experience in related fields
- California experience
