Maintain the integrity of the computerized Master Patient Index (MPI) by performing patient identifier merges, unmerges, and contact moves. Analyze MPI data via electronic medical record reports to identify and consolidate duplicate or multiple patient files. Investigate potential contact moves for accuracy, correcting errors related to registration, identity theft, or unmerges across various sources. Merge and unmerge patient records from different facilities or departments while resolving data issues. Print, prep, scan, and index patient visit lists to track changes, and update demographic information using tools like Putty and Note Mover. This entry-level role supports compliance requirements, licensing standards, and patient care at Ensemble Health client facilities, offering a bonus incentive structure and paid CRCR certification within nine months.
