Job Summary
Conduct maintenance to service, repair, and overhaul aircraft to ensure airworthiness. Interpret manufacturer manuals, service bulletins, and engineering orders to determine repair methods. Perform routine maintenance, modify components, and order parts using technical data. Oversee uncertified mechanics, co-sign work, and assist Leads with production planning and quality control. Estimate labor hours, gather engineering information, and identify DER repair opportunities. Mentor mechanics through on-the-job training and provide performance coaching. Communicate work progress and safety concerns to co-workers and leadership. Comply with Safety Management System requirements and promote balanced technician concepts. Clock jobs accurately and adhere to training guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Effective and appropriate conduct with co-workers
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years' recent component maintenance, commercial aircraft maintenance, and/or MRO experience preferred
- Airframe or Airframe and Powerplant license preferred
