Job Summary
Diagnose complex motorcycle issues, perform advanced repairs, and troubleshoot a wide range of problems while adhering to factory specifications. Accept work assignments from the Service Writer, request parts early, and complete repairs within scheduled time periods to maintain near 100% productivity. Notify management of delays immediately to facilitate customer communication, assist with work orders and test rides, and ensure proper paperwork filing. Maintain a clean shop environment and complete assigned technical training programs to keep qualifications current. This role is based at Black Hills Harley-Davidson in Rapid City, South Dakota, with an annual pay range of $80K-$120K.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a factory authorized formal training program such as MMI Service School or equivalent work experience
- Current Motorcycle license
- Ability to effectively perform duties in time sensitive environment
- Positive attitude, coachable and willing to learn new skills
- Detail-oriented and precise
- Passion for Harley-Davidson brand and industry
