Job Summary
Master HVAC Technician responsible for leading and training HVAC personnel; perform skilled installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance on air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating equipment; read blueprints/drawings and plan installations; coordinate with other trades; plan, inspect, and monitor HVAC concerns; supervise work from work orders and ensure safety and licensing requirements are met; lift up to 80 pounds, work at heights, and adapt to varying environments as part of a union position.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License
- Valid Universal/CFC License
- Completion of a 3-year Apprenticeship Program for Trade or 8 years of trades experience in commercial/industrial HVAC systems
- Ability to repair and install HVAC/R systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Ability to plan, lead, and schedule work from work orders
- Ability to train HVAC personnel and lead teams
