Job Summary
This position requires a senior level professional to manage residential new construction projects, blending responsibilities of a Project Manager and Superintendent. The candidate will need to oversee all phases of construction while ensuring compliance with building and safety codes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- 10+ years minimum experience as a superintendent or associated responsibilities in residential construction project management
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints and drawings
- Proficient in MS Office Suite including MS Project and other scheduling software
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles
- Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate and control costs
- High degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms and conditions
- Conflict resolution and conflict management experience
