Job Summary
Master’s primary responsibility is the safe navigation and conduct of the container ship, with authority to alter course and speed as needed for safety and environmental protection. The Master must implement Company policies and comply with international navigation, safety, security (including cyber security), and environmental protection requirements; oversee that procedures are followed, ensure crew safety and environmental protection, review safety/pollution prevention policies, and comply with applicable legislation and regulations affecting ship operations.
