Conduct safe navigation and ship operations, exercising independent judgment to alter course or speed during exceptional circumstances. Implement company policies and international requirements for navigation, safety, security including cyber security, and environmental protection. Ensure all procedures are correctly executed and review safety and pollution prevention instructions. Maintain compliance with all legislation and regulations affecting the ship's operation and onboard interests.
