Job Summary
Master Field Technician responsible for independently troubleshooting, removing, installing, replacing, rebuilding, repairing, and testing construction equipment in the field. duties include using manuals and parts diagrams, lifting with lift trucks/overhead cranes, disassembling/reassembling parts, testing with diagnostic equipment, welding frames, painting, and documenting repair activities. Requires ability to access hard-to-reach areas on vehicles, operate service vehicles daily, and meet field-driver requirements. Must have a high school education or GED and eight years of Cat-equipment experience with strong mechanical knowledge across systems; capable of working alone with minimal supervision and communicating professionally with customers.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Eight years of experience with Cat equipment or similar equipment; full understanding of transmissions, engines, hydraulics for numerous model lines
