Job Summary
As a Master Electrician, you will oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of complex electrical systems, ensuring their reliability and safety. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical issues, developing preventative maintenance programs, ensuring code compliance, interpreting blueprints, and mentoring other electricians. The ideal candidate must possess a valid Master Electrician license, have extensive electrical experience, and demonstrate leadership and communication skills. Position requires problem-solving abilities and a commitment to safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and current Master Electrician license
- Significant experience as a Journeyman and Master Electrician
- Advanced proficiency in using a wide variety of electrician tools, techniques, and testing equipment
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant electrical codes and regulations
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and train other electricians
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Adhering to all safety requirements and OSHA guidelines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with PLC programming or automation systems
- Certifications related to specific electrical systems or technologies
- Project management experience
- Experience with high-voltage systems
- Knowledge of NEC and other relevant standards
