Job Summary

Maintains, constructs, troubleshoots, repairs and operates a high voltage power distribution network and electrical equipment and systems for a water treatment plant; oversees operations and maintenance of a large, 24/7 wastewater treatment network, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal permit requirements; performs site maintenance, equipment pickup/delivery, and related duties under supervision; works 7:00am–3:30pm, with occasional weekends or on-call work; position designated safety sensitive with pre-employment and random drug testing; requires Arkansas master electrician license (high voltage/line work) and Arkansas Industrial Wastewater Operator License plus CDL within one year of employment; welding and HDPE pipe fusing experience preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of high school or vocational technical school in the building trades
  • 1-3 years experience in industrial and/or wastewater treatment systems operations & maintenance preferred
  • 10 plus years of electrical experience
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
  • Steel welding and HDPE pipe fusing experience is desired
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Must possess an Arkansas master's electrician license with high voltage and line work
  • Must possess an Arkansas Industrial Wastewater Operator License and Commercial Driver License (CDL) within one year of employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment
