Job Summary
Lead electrical technicians and oversee electrical operations in the Austin, TX area; responsible for electrical installation, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance of roadway lighting, facility lighting, and electrical systems; ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; supervise a team as needed and be available for emergency response and on-call needs; schedule includes full-time day shift with some night work.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Texas Master Electrical License required
- Experience with 480V and below 3-phase and single-phase electrical systems
- Roadway lighting and traffic signal experience preferred but not required
- Strong professionalism, work ethic, and leadership abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to work independently and supervise a team when needed
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Computer experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; CDL is a plus
- Ability to pass background screening and pre-employment testing
- Ability to work occasional nights, weekends, and emergency response schedules
- Operate from elevated heights using bucket trucks
- Complete work orders using handheld devices and maintenance software
