Job Summary
Examine and diagnose vehicles, discuss repairs with shop foreman or service advisor, and communicate additional service requests. Plan work in cooperation with the foreman, provide labor estimates, and monitor repair time while updating the service advisor. Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation, complete story and documentation for client repairs, and assist in mentoring technician trainees. Attend company and factory training to keep current with technical bulletins and follow federal, state, and local regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal.
Required Qualifications
- Master-Level VW Certified Diagnostic Technician
- Volkswagen manufacturer certification
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 to 3 months related experience and/or training
- Operator Driver's License
- State Inspection License
