Master Data Specialist

Job Summary
Create, maintain, and update engineering and ERP master data, including item masters, bills of material, routings, and product structures to support manufacturing operations in India and the UK. Ensure all master data transactions are accurate, timely, and compliant with Standard Operating Procedures, work instructions, and governance requirements. Validate and audit data for completeness, consistency, and regulatory compliance while supporting Engineering Change Orders and new product introductions. Partner with cross-functional teams across Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and IT to resolve data issues and execute approved changes within required timelines. Maintain documentation for audit readiness and generate reports to identify trends and errors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, ERP, or data management environment
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with global stakeholders across India, the United Kingdom, and other international locations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional global team
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality support to internal stakeholders
- Hybrid Role- 3 days in office/2 remote
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with ERP systems and engineering-related data preferred
- Exposure to manufacturing processes, engineering changes, or supply chain operations is desirable
