Job Summary
Master Data Specialist – Sales focus responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of SAP sales master data, enabling smooth order processing and pricing management. Core duties include local material extensions in SAP (sales views, distribution channels, plant setup), maintaining sales-related fields for order entry and availability checks, creating and maintaining pricing conditions, monitoring pricing validity, supporting order processing by troubleshooting master data issues, coordinating with factories to validate item master data, and ensuring data governance across North America. The role requires collaboration with Sales Administration, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Planning, and IT, and involves data quality audits, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement of data processes. Preferred experience includes manufacturing or distribution environments, ability to troubleshoot SAP errors, and strong communication for cross-functional coordination. Familiarity with Idoc intercompany data transmission and KPIs related to master data accuracy and pricing is expected.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in SAP (SD/MM module mandatory)
- Experience in master data management, pricing, or order management
- Strong understanding of material master, customer master, and pricing condition structures
- Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
