Master Data Management Specialist

Job Summary
Execute daily operational tasks for Master Data Management, including data standardization, quality assurance, and integrity maintenance across enterprise systems. Troubleshoot technical issues, liaise with subject matter experts, and conduct data cleaning to remove duplicates and obsolete records. Represent Treasury on organizational initiatives, act as a subject matter expert for MDM projects, and develop documentation to support ongoing maintenance and audit processes. Identify areas for data quality improvement and resolve challenges through error detection, process control, and design strategies. Work independently with high attention to detail to ensure functional master data integrity meets business rules.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree, college diploma and/or equivalent experience in Data Management or related area
- 3 -5 years' prior experience in a data management environment
- Working knowledge of Data Systems and industry best practices as it relates to the management of Master Data
- Proficiency in maximizing and utilizing ERP systems, preferably as a 'Power User' of major ERPs and Office 365
- Ability to interface with IT on enhancements or problems with the ERP system application and/or request reports and modifications necessary to improve the operation or correct issues
- Familiarity with inventory controls
- Strong sense of urgency and the ability to understand and set priorities
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a group
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Effectively utilizes metrics to drive results
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to build strong relationships with others
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in Food or CPG industry is an asset
