Master Data Management / MDM Architect - Full Remote

Job Summary

Define the Master Data Management vision and roadmap, aligning it with the enterprise information and analytics strategies. Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify priorities, quantify outcomes, and implement necessary process changes for MDM program goals. Work with data governance bodies to establish procedures, define business KPIs, and create dashboards to monitor success and data quality. Act as an evangelist for MDM, communicating progress and securing required budgets and funding. Partner with IT leaders to integrate MDM dependencies into the overall architecture, data models, and security frameworks. Develop a workplan for the consultancy duration and provide content for project communications.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master degree
  • 8-10+ years of IT work experience
  • at least 3 years of Enterprise Data Management system implementation projects
  • Previous experience implementing Master Data Management system
  • driving business and technical workshops for strategy development
  • requirements definition
  • solution design
  • proposed implantation plans
  • Knowledge and experience with data (management, governance, protection, anonymization)
  • IT security and management policies and procedures
  • Ability to monitor Data Quality Monitoring and any reporting
  • Relate the data structure based on business taxonomy and hierarchy (Data ontology)
  • Curate / correct data in terms of cleansing, correction, standardization, deduplication, matching and data keys and other data cleansing capabilities
  • Ability to integrate using multiple techniques with business systems that consume and reference data (ERP/CRM, Data platform, analytical tools)
  • MDM tools and architecture
  • Understand how privacy and data protection can be addressed using Data Obfuscation, Data anonymization etc. to address privacy and regulatory compliance needs
  • Appreciation of how MDM interacts with any existing Data Governance tools
  • Fluent in English
  • Candidates need to be able to work normal office hours in Geneva, Switzerland
  • All positions are long-term
