Master Coordinator

Master Coordinator role focused on ensuring PJM system scheduling aligns with PJM Market Rules and that energy market transactions are managed per current procedures. Responsibilities include directing scheduling of generators to meet load and reserve requirements, monitoring unit capability and start-up/run times for a large fleet, coordinating with Market Operations and Reliability Engineers to implement scheduling strategies, forecasting PJM system load for the next seven days, maintaining scheduling and transaction records, preparing hydro schedules, and administering outages. The position serves as an entry point with a structured training program (online training, self-study, one-on-one sessions, simulations, and 12 weeks of OJT) and requires completion of final exams and certifications (Profiles XT assessment, NERC certification, PJM Generation certification) within the allotted timeframe. The role also involves real-time actions to maintain reliability and support market operations, with a focus on ensuring compliance with NERC standards and PJM procedures.
