Job Summary
The Master Control Operator is responsible for monitoring and controlling the automation system for proper event execution, preparing syndicated programming, running commercial breaks, and ensuring compliance with FCC rules and regulations. Candidates should possess a technical degree or equivalent experience with at least 2 years in a Master Control setting and preferably experience with Florical automation. Proficiency with IT-based equipment in a broadcast environment is required. A flexible schedule including nights and weekends is necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Technical degree recommended, but not required
- Fluent in English
- Minimum of 2 years in Master Control preferred
- Experience in a master control HUB desired
- Experience with Florical automation preferred
- Must be capable of using IT-based equipment in a broadcast environment
- Computer knowledge, familiarity with server playback and recording, and automation systems preferred
- Knowledge of satellite spot delivery systems preferred
- Must be able to work independently with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to solve problems
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, weekends
- Must be able to work under deadlines and multi-task
- Must be willing to submit to a background check
- Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
