Job Summary
Lead and produce high-quality retail craft demonstrations and products across crafts (e.g., candy making, leather, woodcarving, glass blowing, candle making) while overseeing training and production of Craftsman and Apprentice Craftsman. Develop and present engaging demonstrations, manage costing and production schedules, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure safety and PCI/compliance. Mentor crafts team, contribute to product design and guest experience, and support budgets and cross-functional projects. Demonstrates leadership qualities aligned with Dollywood’s Lead with Love culture, delivering entertaining, informative demonstrations to guests and collaborating with supervisors, buyers, and cross-functional teams to achieve timely delivery and high guest satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Trade school or comparable experience in the applicable craft, or training within the guidelines of an apprenticeship in the craft
- Knowledge of raw materials, production techniques, costing, vendor relations, safety precaution, and use of chemicals relating to the craft
- Previous experience in teaching or group presentations preferred
