Master Automotive Technician

Job Summary
Diagnose and repair complex engine performance, electrical, and computer systems while leading the technical team. Perform advanced diagnostics on steering, suspension, brake, drivability, and air conditioning issues using scan tools and service information. Mentor fellow technicians on repair procedures and communicate findings to service advisors. Execute factory-recommended maintenance and maintain a clean, safe work environment following all safety protocols. Requires ASE Master Technician certification, EPA 609 certification, and minimum five years of professional experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years professional automotive repair experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with electrical diagnostics and drivability repairs
- EPA Section 609 Air Conditioning Certification required
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening
- Lift and carry 50 pounds or more
- Stand, bend, kneel, crouch and reach throughout the workday
- Safely operate customer vehicles and shop equipment
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures
- Work around automotive chemicals and moving mechanical equipment
Desired Qualifications
- ASE Master Technician Certification (A1–A8) preferred
- State Inspection License (where applicable)
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
