Job Summary
Diagnose and repair complex engine performance, electrical, steering, suspension, brake, and HVAC systems while utilizing scan tools and service information. Lead the technical team by mentoring fellow technicians on advanced diagnostics and repair procedures, and communicate inspection findings with service advisors. Perform factory-recommended maintenance and complete mechanical diagnostics to solve difficult problems. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all safety and environmental procedures. Requires ASE Master Technician Certification and 5+ years of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years professional automotive repair experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with electrical diagnostics and drivability repairs
- EPA Section 609 Air Conditioning Certification required
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening
- Lift and carry 50 pounds or more
- Stand, bend, kneel, crouch and reach throughout the workday
- Safely operate customer vehicles and shop equipment
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures
- Work around automotive chemicals and moving mechanical equipment
Desired Qualifications
- ASE Master Technician Certification (A1–A8) preferred
- State Inspection License (where applicable)
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
