Job Summary
Master Automotive Technician responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles, performing multi-point inspections, documenting work, and communicating with service staff. Requires expertise across major systems (engine mechanical, engine control, brakes, electrical, HVAC, drivability, gauges), proficiency with diagnostic handheld devices, and adherence to dealership standards. Will participate in manufacturer-sponsored trainings, maintain CSI scores, and mentor junior technicians. Must comply with applicable regulations and company policies; strong teamwork and technical skills essential. Responsibilities include road tests to verify repairs, warranty-claim processing, and ensuring customer vehicles are returned in saleable condition. Certifications and continuous training are highly valued.
Required Qualifications
- Must have basic tools
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background & drug test)
- ASE certifications heavily preferred
- Manufacturer certifications heavily preferred
- Previous automotive technician experience required
