Job Summary
Diagnose and repair vehicles across domestic and foreign makes, completing full courtesy inspections and troubleshooting guest concerns quickly. Collaborate with the service department to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results while maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization. Build experience as a Master Technician by continuously learning evolving automotive technology and utilizing real-time technical support. Maintain Master-level ASE certifications and navigate computer systems efficiently to meet or exceed hourly goals.
Required Qualifications
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve guest
- 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- Maintain Master-level ASE certifications and stay current with evolving automotive technology
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Meet or exceed hourly goals
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- A desire for long-term career development
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
