Job Summary
Diagnose and repair vehicles for customers while completing full, accurate courtesy inspections. Build experience across domestic and foreign makes by troubleshooting guest concerns and collaborating with the service team to meet deadlines. Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization while navigating diagnostic equipment and manual transmissions. Requires 5+ years of automotive experience, ASE certifications preferred, and ability to lift over 100 pounds. Work full-time with consistent workload and free training at a Christian Brothers Automotive franchise location.
Required Qualifications
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve customers
- 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Meet or exceed hourly goals
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- A desire for long-term career development
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
