Job Summary
Diagnose and fix vehicles for customers while completing full, accurate, and honest courtesy inspections. Continuously build experience across domestic and foreign vehicles by troubleshooting guest concerns and collaborating with the team to meet deadlines. Follow high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization while communicating effectively with the service department. Work in tight spaces, lift over 100 pounds, and drive manual transmissions. This role requires 5+ years of experience, ASE certifications preferred, and the ability to navigate computer systems. Christian Brothers Automotive provides modern diagnostic equipment, free training, and consistent workloads at this independently operated franchise location.
Required Qualifications
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve customers
- 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Meet or exceed hourly goals
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- A desire for long-term career development
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
