Job Summary
Master Automotive Technician / Mechanic needed to diagnose and repair vehicles across a range of domestic and foreign makes/models. Responsibilities include diagnosing and fixing vehicles, performing thorough courtesy inspections, collaborating with the service department and other technicians, maintaining safety and organization standards, and delivering prompt, quality results. Must demonstrate strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills, a positive guest-focused attitude, professional appearance, effective communication, and a commitment to long-term career development. ASE certifications are preferred or a plan to achieve them. Physical requirements include lifting over 100 pounds, working with tools on vehicles lifted overhead, working in tight spaces, standing/walking for long periods, and driving manual transmissions.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- Strong diagnosing ability of both mechanical and electrical complaints
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve
