Job Summary
Perform high-quality diagnostics, repairs, and inspections on complex vehicle issues, covering mechanical, electrical, drivability, brake, suspension, steering, cooling, A/C, and engine performance systems. Thoroughly inspect vehicles, document findings with accurate notes and photos, and identify safety concerns or maintenance needs for service advisors. Utilize diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and service information to stay current with modern automotive systems while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area. Communicate clearly with the team, follow shop processes and safety procedures, and support a team-first culture to drive shop productivity and repair quality.
Required Qualifications
- Strong automotive diagnostic and repair experience
- The ability to diagnose vehicles accurately instead of simply replacing parts
- Experience with scan tools, electrical testing, service information, and modern vehicle systems
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced repair environment
- Good communication skills and the ability to document work clearly
- A dependable, professional, and team-oriented attitude
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Personal tools appropriate for the position
