Job Summary
Master 45m on NRMA Marine vessels in Sydney on a 7-day rotating roster, responsible for safe, clear and diligent management of the vessel and crew during preparation, underway, and post-operation to meet standards. Duties include safe navigation and operation per maritime regulations, vessel systems maintenance, crew management and performance, passenger safety and satisfaction, vessel security and emergency response, crew training and compliance with regulations and Code of Conduct, and maintaining Safety Management Systems while promoting a safe work culture. Requirements include Current Master <45m, MED2, Certificate of Local Knowledge (Port Jackson), First Aid Certificate, Medical Fitness Certificate (AMS or equivalent), Working with Children’s Check; Responsible Service of Alcohol is desirable. Skills emphasized: seamanship, communication, vessel maintenance, and leadership.”,
