Job Summary
Conduct individualized career coaching sessions for clients virtually, onsite, and offsite, advising them on job search strategies, resumes, networking, and interview preparation. Co-lead webinars and workshops on career exploration and negotiation while registering new members and facilitating intake at the Career Resource Center. Provide technical assistance for computer navigation, manage resource center operations, and maintain accurate records in the MOSES database. Assist with monthly job fairs, partner agency collaboration, and general administrative tasks to support daily Career Center efficiency. This hybrid role requires onsite work at 75 Federal Street, Boston, MA, plus travel to partner locations and remote work.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree plus two years of hands-on experience and/or training in areas such as career counseling, case management, recruitment, education, coaching, or counseling
- Teaching or public speaking skills/experience
- Advanced computer and technology competency
- Previous experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, and Zoom
- Excellent organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to effectively engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds (including staff, clients, and stakeholders)
- Hybrid position requires fast and reliable home internet connection
- Travel to partner organizations in the Boston region may be required as needed
