Job Summary
Administer body treatments and massages to guests while maintaining AAA Four Diamond standards and spa protocols. Provide general resort information, educate clients on services and products, and upsell other hotel amenities. Perform prep work, clean and restock rooms, and ensure proper equipment care and sanitation. Handle guest inquiries and concerns professionally, communicate incidents to management, and actively promote spa programs and discounts. Maintain a positive attitude, follow dress code standards, and possess the ability to work without direct supervision. Requires a valid Washington massage therapy license, CPR certification, and at least two years of similar experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A Valid Washington massage therapy license
- CPR certification
- At least one year customer service experience
- Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a natural ability to interact with others
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must be able to accurately follow verbal and written instructions
- Must possess excellent communication skills
- Must have excellent listening skills
- Must be detailed-orientated
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be professional in appearance and demeanor
- Must always ensure a teamwork environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidays
- Must have the ability to effectively interact with guests and team members; and resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
- Must have a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests
- Must be able to stand on feet throughout the shift, with intermittent periods of walking
- Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 40 lbs at shoulder height
- Must be able to occasionally push/pull up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to perform simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand & arm movements constantly
- Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, walk on uneven surfaces on an occasional basis
- Must be able to walk outside in a variety of weather conditions (rain, wind, snow, heat)
Desired Qualifications
- At least two years previous experience providing massage and body treatments in a similar setting
