Job Summary
Greet spa guests enthusiastically, perform massages and body treatments including table, chair, and foot services, and customize therapies to suit individual needs. Explain treatments, recommend additional services and products, and up-sell spa offerings while enquiring about medical conditions and allergies. Maintain detailed records of all services, sanitize instruments and work areas, and manage inventory to ensure adequate supplies. Adhere to strict appointment schedules, attend mandatory training sessions, and assist with special projects or team member training as directed. Report guest complaints, accidents, or inappropriate behavior immediately to management.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Licensed in Massage Therapy, with current CEU credit requirements
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and different massage techniques
- Proficient in 3 more specialty modalities, including Sports, Stone Massage, Reflexology, Cranio-sacral, Lymphatic Drainage
- Proven experience working as a Spa Massage Therapist
- CPR and First Aid certifications
- Maintain all current licenses and certifications
- Available to workdays, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as business dictates
