Job Summary
Perform professional quality massage within scope of practice and licensing, designing specific sessions based on individual guest needs. Assist in promoting health and wellness benefits to clients while maintaining detailed and accurate treatment records. Communicate various promotions and follow all practice policies and protocols in accordance with Georgia law. Utilize approved modalities including hot stone, deep muscle, and prenatal therapy as preferred. Assist in the cleanliness of treatment rooms and common areas, and attend meetings and training sessions. Maintain a friendly attitude to create an excellent guest experience. Flexible workdays including holidays and weekends are available based on staffing needs. Requires a valid Georgia Massage Therapist license and proven work experience.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Massage Therapist
- Valid Georgia Massage Therapist license
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Background check
- Flexible workdays including holidays and weekends
- Offsite event locations when necessary
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Ability to develop a plan of action for client's care
- Ability to make a client feel comfortable
- Must be effective at listening
- Must be effective at understanding
- Must be effective at clarifying
- Must be effective at resolving the concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests
