Job Summary
Perform professional quality massage using approved modalities, including Swedish and Deep Tissue, while adhering to draping and infection prevention protocols. Design specific sessions based on client needs and complete wellness chart documentation accurately. Assist in clinic cleanliness, promote health and wellness benefits to clients, and generate new clientele through referral programs. Maintain professional appearance, client confidentiality, and a friendly attitude to create an excellent experience for members and guests. Work flexible shifts with reliable, on-time attendance, completing 50-120 minute sessions daily.
Required Qualifications
- Must adhere to all applicable local and state licensing laws and regulations related to the massage therapy services provided, including following any applicable law pertaining to maintaining current Massage License
- Satisfactory results of background and reference check
- Knowledge of and experience in performing Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage
- Must be able to stand, sit and use hands to massage for multiple 50-120 minute sessions per day
- Able to work flexible days and hours
- Is regularly at work and on time, as scheduled
- Must be customer service oriented
- Must communicate effectively (orally and written) and in a courteous and professional manner on a regular basis with members, guests, co-workers and management
- Accepts constructive criticism in a positive manner and uses it as a learning tool
