Job Summary
Deliver 25, 55, and 85-minute massage sessions using Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and prenatal modalities. Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs and goals. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming treatment room between sessions and at the end of each shift. Build long-term relationships with clients to generate new business and retain them. This part-time role supports the Wellness team at the Marlene Meyerson Jewish Community Center in Manhattan, a cornerstone of the Upper West Side offering inclusive programs for all stages of life.
Required Qualifications
- Valid New York State Massage Therapy License
- 6 months-1 year of proven massage therapist experience
- Strong ability to attract new clients and build long-term relationships generate new business and retain clients
- In depth understanding of anatomy, physiology, and human movement
- Comfortable using computers and basic digital tools
- Good communication and positive energy
- Ability to stand, sit, push, and pull as required
