Job Summary
Evaluate fighter aircrew personnel for musculoskeletal conditions and deliver massage therapy focused on neck and back pain to strengthen core systems and enhance injury resistance. Provide healthy lifestyle education as part of an overall health maintenance program to improve quality of life. Maintain an active, unrestricted massage therapy license and current CPR/AED certification. Present research and develop metrics to demonstrate effective neck and back pain prevention strategies. Requires a Secret security clearance and experience working with professional or collegiate athletes.
Required Qualifications
- active, current, and unrestricted license or certification from the US jurisdiction where the service is to be provided
- graduated from a MT certification program
- maintain a license or certification from a U.S. state
- experience working with professional and/or collegiate athletes, or equivalent
- current certification in basic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) to include Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training
- Current (or ability to obtain and maintain) Secret security clearance (T3 background investigation)
- U.S. citizen
- oral and written communication skills
