Job Summary
Provide high-quality relaxation and therapeutic massage within a patient-centered healthcare setting. Responsible for assessing patient needs, selecting appropriate massage modalities, coordinating sessions, obtaining consent for minors, documenting evaluations and recommendations, and supporting treatment goals in collaboration with healthcare professionals. Maintain privacy and a quiet environment, contribute to patient well-being by reducing muscle tension, stress, anxiety, and fatigue, and participate in continuing education and department activities as approved. Requires a 500-hour credentialed massage therapy program, current license in WA, and certification through NCBTMB/AMTA or equivalent; CPR certification required or obtained within first three months. Flexible hours and casual scheduling. Massages occur in a quiet space with some non-quiet areas, and a variety of duties may be assigned.
