Job Summary
Massage Therapist in Hospice role providing massage therapy to relieve stress, pain, and muscle tension; designs and implements massage programs based on client health conditions; assesses tissue status and adjusts technique; communicates with clients during sessions about pressure, pace, and location; maintains a clean, safe, and professional environment; educates clients on daily body movement and exercises; may serve as patient/resident access representative handling check-in/out and payments; supports a broad healthcare mission across Sanford Health and affiliated networks.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Completion of an accredited massage therapy program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of employment
- MBLEx examination for national massage therapy board certification (preferable within 6 months of hire)
