Job Summary
Administer professional massage services to members and guests using various modalities, adjusting delivery modes to address individual needs. Perform on-site chair massage in a corporate setting, including incidental travel, setup, and teardown, alongside spa-like environments within the fitness center. Maintain active membership in the integrated health and wellness team by supporting department-wide events and strategies. Requires a Nebraska Massage Therapy License, CPR/AED and First Aid certifications, and two years of experience. This commission-only role supports employee well-being within HealthFitness's nationwide network of over 2,400 professionals.
Required Qualifications
- Massage Therapy License for the state of Nebraska
- Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute
- 2+ years of massage therapy experience
- Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems
- Experience in sports massage techniques
- Good communication skills; listening and verbal
- Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test
- Must be willing and capable to deliver on site chair massage in a corporate setting (incidental travel, set-up and tear down) in addition to a spa like environment within a fitness center
- Must function as an active member of an integrated health and wellness team and support department wide events and strategies
