Job Summary
Part-time Massage Therapist position at Fleet Feet St. Louis focused on sports massage therapy, with knowledge of sports injuries and movement, requiring MO LMT and MBLEX/NCBTMB, 1 year of experience; duties include sports rehabilitation massage, group classes, client education, and admin with Vagaro; flexible hours including mornings/evenings/weekends; running industry knowledge a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Must have successfully completed MBLEX and/or NCBTMB
- Must be a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in the State of Missouri
- At least 1 year of applicable experience in massage therapy
- Skilled in advanced body care such as myofascial release (MFR)
- Must be First Aid/CPR certified
- Strong communication skills, decision-making skills, and empathy towards clients
- Solid physical stamina including the ability to stand on their feet and perform massage up to 25 hours per week
- Flexible with work hours (potentially including early mornings, evenings, and /or weekends)
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge and/or passion for the running industry is a plus
- Experience with training classes or group education
- Experience with Vagaro or other scheduling software
- Ability to educate clients on therapeutic care of sports-related injuries
