Job Summary
Spa Massage Therapist needed to deliver Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, aromatherapy, sports, and customized massage therapies in a luxury hotel spa. On-call role focused on providing exceptional therapeutic and relaxation treatments, assessing guest needs, maintaining a serene treatment environment, promoting spa services and retail, upholding hygiene and safety standards, assisting with guest check-in/out and spa operations, collaborating with the team, staying updated on industry techniques, and adhering to luxury brand standards. Incentives include commissions on services and retail. Requires 2+ years in a luxury spa or hotel and proficiency in multiple modalities; CBD/prenatal/Thai massage experience and additional certifications are a plus. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced luxury setting.
Required Qualifications
- (2+) years of previous experience in a luxury spa or hotel preferred
- Proficiency in multiple massage modalities
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and contraindications for massage
- Experience with CBD-infused, prenatal, or Thai massage is a plus
- Additional certifications in reflexology, Reiki, or other holistic therapies preferred
- Excellent communication skills and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a serene atmosphere
- Flexible to work in different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
