Job Summary
Assess symptoms and medical history, make diagnoses, and develop care plans for individuals with varied physical conditions. Manipulate muscles and soft tissue while educating clients on therapy aspects, stretching, strengthening, and posture improvement. Provide goal-setting activities and refer clients to physiotherapy or exercise physiology when required. Liaise with healthcare professionals to formulate and monitor care plans, and document client progress. This role involves working within a collaborative team of physiotherapists and massage therapists to enhance mobility and promote independence.
Required Qualifications
- Qualification in Remedial Massage and/or Myotherapy
- Medibank Private and other private health registration
- ABN or ACN and relevant insurance documents
