Job Summary
Provide various types of massage to clients while ensuring timely start and completion of appointments. Deliver demonstration massages to attract clients and promote services at center and community events. Maintain a clean and orderly massage room and practice proper safety and sanitation skills. Assist in sales by having knowledge of offered services and products, and help conduct monthly inventory of supplies and equipment. Fill in as an attendant to answer phones and make appointments as needed. Be proficient in core business software and remain flexible regarding center hours and scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Graduate of an accredited Massage Therapy school
- CPR/AED certification
- Required to meet specific state requirements for certifications and/or licensure
- Must possess excellent inter-personal and communication skills
- The ability to be flexible and accommodating as it relates to center hours, work schedules and scheduling appointments for prospects and members
Desired Qualifications
- Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a spa setting
- Proficient computer skills
