Job Summary
Mass Tort Paralegal will provide assistance to attorneys in fact investigation, legal research, document preparation and production, database management, docketing/case management, and overall client service. Focus on California product liability matters including asbestos, silica and other toxic torts. Duties include drafting pleadings and correspondence, preparing for depositions/hearings/trials, pre-trial preparation, coordinating filings, collecting medical/records, calendaring, and mentoring Paralegal Assistants; requires independent file organization, attention to detail, and ability to work with multiple offices and clients.
Required Qualifications
- Paralegal Certificate or Bachelor’s degree in a law related field or Associate’s degree and paralegal training.
- Asbestos, Silicosis, or other Toxic Tort litigation experience mandatory (California specific)
