Job Summary
Shift Supervisor at Central Rock Gym oversees front desk operations and acts as lead on duty during shifts to ensure a safe, welcoming, and smoothly run facility. Responsibilities include guest services, membership processing, using Rock Gym Pro for check-ins, registrations, waivers, and payments, conducting facility tours, and communicating programs and policies. The role provides leadership to Desk Staff, serves as escalation point for member and staff issues, monitors safety and cleanliness, manages incident reporting and basic maintenance coordination, and supports onboarding and training of new staff. Requires strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills, with availability to work nights, weekends, early mornings, and some holidays. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus, and experience with Google Suite and Rock Gym Pro is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Flexible schedule with availability to work nights, weekends, early mornings, and some holidays.
- Prior experience as Desk Staff or in a similar customer-facing leadership role preferred.
- Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to take initiative and make sound decisions during shifts.
- Friendly, approachable, and confident leadership style.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working at heights of 40+ feet and lifting up to 50 lbs (location dependent).
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
- Experience with Google Suite and Rock Gym Pro preferred.
